Where are you based, and do you travel?
DWE Photography is based near Watford, Hertfordshire and will travel within a 15 mile radius (Travel fees may apply for locations outside the local area). Having worked in Central London for 20 years, we can suggest lots of stunning locations for outdoor shoots.
How do I book a session?

How often should you update your Professional Headshot?
A professional headshot is often the first impression people have of you, on LinkedIn, your website, or company materials. To keep it working for you, here’s a simple guideline:
Every 2 years is a good rule of thumb.
Update sooner if your appearance has changed (new hairstyle, glasses, facial hair, or weight change) or use a career move or promotion as an excuse to update your photo, so your headshot matches your current role and brand.
If someone wouldn’t immediately recognise you from your current headshot, it’s time for an update.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance to ensure availability — especially for events or large-scale team shoots.

How long does a professional headshot session take?
Individual sessions typically take 30–60 minutes, depending on the number of looks required. On-site corporate sessions are scheduled efficiently to minimise disruption, with most staff photographed in 10 minutes per person.
Can you help if I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera?
Absolutely. Most of my clients say this before their session. I’ll guide you through posing, expression, and posture in a relaxed, professional environment so you look confident and natural, never stiff or awkward.
How will I use my corporate headshots?
Your images will be suitable for LinkedIn profiles, company websites, marketing materials, press features, email signatures, and internal communications. I ensure your headshots are versatile and consistent with your personal or corporate brand.
Do you offer custom packages for companies or large teams?

Will we have full usage rights for the photos?

After the Shoot
When will we receive the final images?
Edited images are typically delivered within 5–7 business days via a private online gallery. Rush delivery is available upon request.
Will the images be high-resolution?
Yes. You’ll receive both high-resolution files for print and web-optimized versions for digital use.
Do you include retouching?
Yes. Natural retouching is included in all headshots and portraits. Additional advanced editing is available upon request.
Pricing & Payment
What are your rates?
Pricing varies based on session type, number of individuals, and location. Please contact us with your requirements and we’ll provide a customised quote.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept bank transfers, and digital payments such as PayPal.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due on or before the shoot date.
Rescheduling & Policies
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We get it — things happen. You may reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. Short-notice cancellations may incur a rebooking fee.
What happens in case of weather or emergencies?
We’ll work with you to reschedule at no additional cost if your session is affected by weather or unexpected circumstances.
